I am a pediatric occupational therapist in Minneapolis and I am working on an independent research project. I am working on collecting data to try to help children with special needs better qualify for skilled therapy services and support covered by their insurance companies. I am wondering if you will help me by posting a one time message to your Yahoo Group members. I would really appreciate it. Please email me with any questions. Thank you, Roll, MA OTR/Lfran0418@... Research Participants Needed I am a mother of two active toddlers and a pediatric occupational therapist working in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I am collecting data for a research project to help children with special needs better qualify for skilled therapy services and supportive services covered by their insurance companies. I am collecting data on children’s abilities to complete self-care skills (dressing, grooming, hygiene, etc.) as well as home and community skills (ability to complete household chores, safety skills, money management, school related skills, etc.).The data will be used to get a broad functional level of a child’s ability to care for themselves. Parents of typically developing children ages 2-18 years old are asked to take a one time online survey about their child’s ability to complete self-cares and home and community skills. The link below will take you to the consent form, followed by a few demographic questions, and then to the survey. You may post this information on Facebook, blogs, and email it to family and friends. http://www.kwiksurveys.com/online-survey.php?surveyID=OMNEIG_2b36c5b8 Data collected will compare results from individuals with and without disabilities as well as from the United States and abroad. Information from the research collected is intended for publication. Please email me with any questions. I appreciate your participation. Roll, MA OTR/Lfran0418@...
