Guest guest
I am on my fifth round with DMSA, taking 12.5 mg, not able to cope with higher doses. Lately I have been feeling a leg/ankle pain in my bones/muscles. I am wondering if it is a result of not eating enough calcium. My supplements are currently B-50, milk thistle extract, C-vitamins, Chromium with every meal and flax oil, e-vitamin, betacarotene, zink, selenium, magnesium, molybdenum every morning. The doses are not fare from what Andy recommends in his book. I am wondering if I should take some kind of multivitamin pill, when chelating. I have been recommended a pill from my MD. This pill contain both copper and manganese, which Any lists as anti-mercury supplements. Does it matter? What multivitamin pills do you recommend? The multi vitamin pill I am considering taking contains: Beta-carotene 15 mg B1 26 mg B2 32 mg B3 48 mg B6 32 mg B12 150 mcg C 100 mg D 5 mcg E 50 mg K 75 mcg Folate 200 mcg Biotin 150 mcg PABA 50 mg Inositol 50 mg Cholin 50 mg Zink 30 mg Selenium 150 mcg Chromium 100 mcg Molybdenum 40 mcg Manganese 50 mg Calsium 18 mg Magnesium 50 mg Copper 0,5mg Iodine 150mcg Silicium 20 mg Spirulina 50 mg Best regards Eivind
Guest guest
I wouldn't take the multivitamin that your doctor recommends because of the copper and spirulina. If you are concerned about calcium it can be supplemented separately so that you can control what form you are getting and the dose. I have had leg ankle pain since shortly after amalgam removal. I have not been able to pinpoint the cause except that my Achilles tendons were shown to be enlarged and cracked on an ultrasound. The pain did lessen for me with chelation and then I started to get pain in my thigh muscles, which I have not been able to determine the cause of. Mercury toxic people are quite prone to inflammation.
