ML ... ya know, I think lots of people are re-thinking Christmas. Our family is doing less with presents this year too and wanting to just enjoy being together.

My daughter Lysa's house is decorated to the HILT this year, I'll have to send pics.

It's the first time their family has been home for the holidays in many years (they usually visit Marlin's parents in Spokane WA). So they went all out.

We will be with Zoe's family on the eve and Lysa's family on the day of Christmas.

I'm really looking forward to it this year.

I'm sure it's because my prodigal daughter is with us and doing well~

I gotta go get on that "bare Lion" if he is going to get fur by Christmas!

Keep on keepin' on ML! You're wonderful.

Hi Jane: I love "Boss Jane". so cute. Every day I have to be very persistent to fight this disease with all I can muster. Some days are better than others. I love Boss Jane, means (JANE IS IN CHARGE) right??????Christmas is so commercial and it is all about buying presents for people you hardly speak to anymore, so this year our families decided to just be together, have fun, eat together and enjoy the heck out of each others company. And to know in our hearts that God has Blessed all of us in His own way, somehow wanting us at this stage in our lives to cope with this disease. It is not what He has given us, but it is an OPPORTUNITY that he has given us to give all the pain and worry to HIM and he will give us what we need to survive and yes, Jane, it is a shame that Christmas has become so material. We loved it so much as kids but we also knew the MEANING of it as we were taught very early on.I LOVE YOU THIS DAYMARY LOU RICHMOND VAIPF - 02>> > Hi Lou> > I like your new nickname. A couple of years ago, Mike and I decided to stop buying food gifts (and other silliness) for friends and relatives around the country. Instead, we made small contributions to their favorite charities in their names. This year, we decided we would only buy each other stocking stuffers, and give the money we would have spent on each other to a local charity, and a liver transplant (we hope!) recipient. It just makes us feel good to do that.Sher Bauman wrote: ML ... ya know, I think lots of people are re-thinking Christmas.
