Hi does any one know what dosages of liver supplements to give, most of

the old posts I have found mainly just list the supplements. Also if

any one has any advice on the symptoms please let me know your thoughts.

Pale stools and slightly uncomfortable occasionally on right side

around bottom of the ribs. No other symtoms copper always been highish

around 50-60ug/g. Been chelating for 15 months on 75mg ala or 50mg

ala/25mg dmsa per rd. 70rds so far mainly on 50mg ala 25mg dmsa.

Supplements I have seen for the liver/gall bladder

Taurine up to 2g pd

Phosphatitdyl choline not sure on dose

molybdenum for copper

milk thistle 1 per meal (80mg silymarin)

Any others & how long would poeple leave it before trying something

else like maybe a liver flush?

Thanks

Phil

Cutler has mentioned taking glycine and B vitamins in addition to what

you are already taking.

The onibasu wiki page might give you some more ideas:

http://onibasu.com/wiki/Liver_support

Although you didn't mention if your liver enzymes were elevated, that

page does mention DMSA will elevate them.

You might benefit from increasing your milk thistle dose if you

haven't tried that already. Something else is phytosomal milk thistle

(Siliphos aka silybin phytosome) sold under different brand names,

which is supposed to be much more bioavailable than regular milk

thistle. There's also polyenylphosphatidylcholine (aka polypc and

under different brand names) which is supposed to be effective for

some liver conditions. There's an article on it on lef.org that

mentions its use for damaged pre-cirrhotic livers, if I remember

correctly.
