Ask your therapist if they take Medicaid. Many do and once they are in the Medicaid system of bureaucratic paperwork they usually get paid easier.

Hello everyone,

I haven't been here for a while so I may be asking a redundant question but don't see an answer by doing a search. Here goes..

We got a notice on Friday that we are no longer eligible for CMS (Title 21) KidCare insurance for our son. We are now forced to be on the Medicaid program. This, of course, means that all our therapies with the practitioners we trust will not be possible after July 1st.

Does anyone have experience with this situation? Any words of advice? I've been on the phone for hours between KidCare and FL Medicaid. I'm getting more discouraged by the minute.
