Do any providers have plans for cessation of services? I know some

hospitals have pandemic plans where this is addressed.

So, what have any of you heard about EMS services planning for a pandemic worst

case scenario.

Thanks

Re: Swine Flu

I think Texas may be looking for allot of mask for the general population to

have to wear. I see where now they are looking a some folks in New York now as

well. Maybe it will be like the panic in the 70's and the vaccine was what

killed everyone for a flu no one ever got. Oh how I remember the panic and fear.

Swine Flu

I just watched about an hour of the news on a television station in

Monterrey, NL, Mexico. They are really having major issues with this swine

flue (H1N1). The Mexican government is issuing substantial warnings. They

have closed hundreds of schools and universities. Deaths now are more than

100. Most of the cases are in Mexico City and the federal district. There

have been a few cases in San back in Texas. If this virus spreads

like other influenza viruses (especially those that have jumped species),

Katrina may soon look like a summer breeze.
