Guest guest Posted August 24, 2008 Report Share Posted August 24, 2008 Hi everyone, I have been enjoyning reading all your recent posts - the time difference between there and here allows me some interesting reading with my morning coffee Brad just got the most recent bloods back and his bilirubin count has gone down from 44 to 33 - woo hoo! First good news since his diagnosis. I did however have a question (as usual...) - As he does have cirrhosis and portal hypertension, I have been looking into all the 'complications' etc which are way too scary to dwell on but aside from those, what sort of symptoms can he expect as the cirrhosis progresses? Will he feel more tired? Will he get nauseus or weak or itchy etc? I can't seem to find any info on it and I don't know what to expect. Will he continue feeling fine but then one day need a transplant? Or will he slowly become ill before that time?
