Guest guest
I just started to realize that for the bone broth you actually have to break the bones and such, so I was doing that for this new pot of soup I'm working on. However, I cut one, it split, and I have to say, the marrow is SO GROSS! I know that's what's really good and healing and stuff, but still, it's very gross to me, and I'm wondering if in the soup it will show up at all? Will it taste like anything or be all reddish brown and chunky? Or will it just dissolve into the nice yellow broth? I only did one bone split, and I cut two others evenly, and the rest I added in whole. SHould I split them all? I just didn't want to shock myself by doing them all and having it taste/look funky since I've never done this before. I've always put the bones in, but never split. Last time I made soup, I cut all the bones, but I don't think all the marrow came out so that's why I still don't know. Sorry for sounding wimpish and squeemish and such, but I don't want to put all this effort into the soup just to be grossed out by it! Thanks guys!
