Guest guest
Dear Seattle and Puget Sound SCDers, I've been eating the Special Carbohydrate diet since November 2007. I make my living as a cook/chef. In my day jobs I cook food that I would not eat, but I work in restaurants that are focused on buying local and organic and thinking sustainably with their choices. I live on Whidbey Island in the Puget Sound just north of Seattle. This coming Sunday , the 7th I'm putting on a full brunch that's open to the public. It's being held at the Ashingdon Manor, a B+B just outside of Langley on Whidbey Island. My passion lies with eating local and as organically as possible. The brunch features produce, pork, and eggs from the island. Below are the details on the brunch. As you will see from the menu, it is extremely friendly to the SCD Diet. Come, enjoy, let someone else cook lavishly for you. A ticket, or pair of tickets would also make an excellent gift or aspect of a getaway weekend to Whidbey Island. It's gorgeous here! Thanks for your interest and I look forward to cooking for you. Below are the details and rough menu.
