I have not tried raw fruits and veggies yet, but I can wait on those. I just don't want to be eating nut flour and set myself back if i'm supposed to be waiting for something. Some people do have a very quick response to SCD, but it's still generally a wise idea to move slowly -- like sticking with cooked vegetables, and so forth. You can substitute pecan or blanched almond butter one for one in any recipe calling for nut flour. The nut butters are generally easier to digest than the nut flours. Note: peanut butter may be more advanced, as peanut are not true nuts, but legumes. Same is true of cashews. Guest guest
Hi - I am happy to hear you are improving. Yes, go slow!! I have been on SCD since April and I am very cautious about nut flours. I have tried them but in very small quantities and not every day. It is great to hear you are better. PJ > >Is this normal?
