Guest guest
Hi , I couldn't reply to your message so maybe you'd like to repost. Here is the url to the pecanbread website. You'll find it very helpful. It has the diet broken down into stages to help you introduce foods: www.pecanbread.com. It is important in the beginning, to peel, deseed and cook all your fruit and vegetables. You want to eat food that is easy to digest to give a break to your body as it is trying to heal. Everyone is different so you'll just have to experiment. Start a food diary so that you know what foods you are reacting to and what foods you can tolerate. You can try homemade yogurt whenever you want but start with very small quantities...1 tbsp, wait 2 days, 2 tbsp, wait 2 days and if you have no reaction you can increase. I'll let others on the list explain that it is much easier to have all the members of your family onboard for this diet as cooking is very time consuming. Welcome and good luck, GERDS and chronic C.
