I think stearic acid is OK as an additive.

But I'd personally find another brand of supplement without it if I could. Seems to me there are some long-term concerns with stearic acid. But I guess it depends on how critical the need is for the active ingredients in the supplement you are considering.

I've learned I need to avoid as many synthesized chemicals (additives and preservatives) as possible -- my body just works better without them, and since I'm dealing with neuromuscular deterioration, I need all the help I can get....
