Just wanted to comment that we got tremendous results using natural products to bind heavy metals and escort them safely from the body without being reabsorbed. We used a combination of Dr Dietrich Klinghardt's (http://www.klinghardtacademy.com/Articles/) detox protocol, which for us meant taking chlorella (to get into the gut area to bind the toxins) 30 min prior to ingesting liquid cilantro (which has been shown to cross blood brain barrier so as to remove metals from brain) as well as many suggestions from Dr. Amy Yasko's protocol (http://www.dramyyasko.com/resources/autism-pathways-to-recovery/chapter-3/) which included using garlic, aloe vera liquid, and other natural anti microbials as many of our kids have chronic underlying infections which hold onto the heavy metals. This is also supported by Dr Klinghardt as well as Stan Kurtz (comprehensive anti viral anti fungal) . We did supplemental minerals as well as amino acids (branch chain especially), liver and kidney support, mHBOT,etc. Another aspect that made a huge difference in our detox protocol was the mitigation if electromagnetc frequencies (Dr. Carlo as well as Dr. Klinghardt) as physiological response to EMF is that the cell membrane hardens , so if you try to chelate without first mitigating EMF, then it is like trying to pull an elephant through the eye of a needle. There is so very much to cover with this subject. But long story short, do your research first. We chose to chelate with only natural products for several reasons, but it is a personal choice that must be made after proper due diligence. My son is now doing amazing. We are in Hollywood CA where he is doing commercials, movies, and acting and has realistic aspirations of playing for the NBA one day. He is now 9.So do not give up. It is sooo worth it.

Blessings to you all!

Wanda
