Guest guest
Zofran works like a charm. I had several ERCP's without incident, but the one where they cut the sphincter of oddi, whoa, the bile gushed back into my belly and well....the nurse was kept busy keeping up with keeping my bedding clean. I have also had a delayed reaction. Had my ERCP, drove home and 6 hours later, started vomiting. The doc's said that some people just get over sensitive. After going back to the ER room at a local hospital and puking every 10 minutes for 7 straight hours....they finally gave me Zofran on an ongoing basis. I carry it with me at all times. It also is supposed to be helpful in relieving itching....but that is a battle with insurance because it is very, very expensive.
