Guest guest Posted August 5, 2008 Report Share Posted August 5, 2008 One of my brothers' medical team spoke to him today about the procedure they would like to do. They install a T.I.P.P.S. stint that bypasses the liver. The procedure is permanent. Dr said the specialists feel that a liver transplant does not work well in his case. A side effect of this procedure can be brain fog from unfiltered stuff in system. He's worried about that big time. Anyone had the TIPPS procedure? He has more appointments in the morning.
