STRIKES BOWLING IN BOCA RATON TO HOST FUNDRAISER TO BENEFIT

FARA’S PLACE, A DAY PROGRAM FOR YOUNG ADULTS WITH DISABILITIES

Boynton Beach, June, 2012…Fara’s Place, a nonprofit day program for young adults with disabilities, will hold its second fundraiser June 29th, 2012 at 7:00 p.m.at Strikes of Boca Raton, 21046 Commercial Trail. “The kids from Fara’s Place love Strikes,†says Fara’s Place founder and President Randie Hoffman. “They bowl regularly and we are thrilled Strikes is hosting this event for us.â€

This fundraiser follows the first event, which was held at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino this past April. The Strikes fundraiser is open to the public and all proceeds will benefit Fara’s Place. Registration begins at 7:00p.m. A $35.00 donation includes two hours of bowling, shoes, pizza, soda and raffles. “We would love to see whole families come out, have fun and help raise funds for a wonderful cause,†says Hoffman.

Fara’s Place, sponsored by the JCC of the Greater Palm Beaches & Alpert Jewish Family & Children’s Services of Palm Beach, is scheduled to open its doors this coming fall and hopes to be able to enroll up to twenty young adults. Funds raised at Strikes will be allocated for all expenses associated with creating and maintaining the day program.
