GROUP HOME OPENINGS

As of August 2012

ARC Broward has been providing services to consumers with developmental disabilities for over 50 years. We are driven to offer services

that cater to the specific needs of each individual consumer. Currently we have openings at BARC Housing, Capri House, Malibu House and Eden House; we also have availability in our Supported Living program.

ARC Broward's Residential Division operates three community living options:

1) BARC Housing, an Intermediate Care Facility in Davie

2) Six group homes within Broward County

3) Supported Independent Living Coaching services, which provides individualized supports to consumers so that they are able to live in their own homes throughout Broward County.

OPENING #1 - Capri House

Coconut Creek, Florida

This opening is for a male or female client.

Capri House is a six person co-ed group home. The home is in walking distance to a community park and has a beautiful built in swimming pool. Capri is approximately

2,100 square feet and has four bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a sunken family room, a dining room and a screened in patio. Capri has 24 hour awake shift staff to supervise and assist the residents. The home is located in between 441 and Lyons Road and is North

of Atlantic Boulevard.

OPENING #2 - Eden House

Coral Springs, Florida

The opening is for a female client.

Eden House is a six person co-ed group home. The home backs up to a canal and has a lovely built in swimming pool. Eden is approximately

3,300 square feet and has five bedrooms, three full bathrooms, a living room, a family room with a fire place, an eat in kitchen, a dining room and a large screened in patio. Eden has live in staff to supervise and assist the residents. The home is located

East of Nob Hill Road and North of Royal Palm Boulevard.

OPENING #3 - Malibu House

Coral Springs, Florida

This opening is for a male client.

Malibu House is a six person co-ed group home. The home is approximately 2,400 square feet and has four bedrooms, two full bathrooms,

a living room, a family room, an eat in kitchen and a large screened in patio that backs up to a lovely community park. Malibu has 24 hour awake shift staff to supervise and assist the residents. The home is located East of University Drive and North of Sample

Road.

OPENING #4 - BARC Housing

Davie, Florida

The opening is for a female client.

BARC Housing is an Intermediate Care Facility for the Developmentally Disabled (ICF/DD). The facility opened in 1981 and currently supports thirty six adults who require a high level of behavioral, nursing and other support services. The facility is located

on five acres of beautifully landscaped property in a quiet, residential section of Davie. BARC has 16 hours of nursing care per day and 24 awake shift staff to supervise and assist the residents.

ARC Broward is a non-profit organization providing services to children and adults with autism, Down's syndrome, intellectual disabilities or other life

challenges since 1956.
