Guest guest Posted April 16, 2008 Report Share Posted April 16, 2008 Kizzersmom I know how you feel... I am thinking of 2 different things that effect the right and left side of my ribs.. I get ASCITES often and the fluid builds up in my back,under my arms and around the ribs that is called FREE FLOWING FLUID.. I have U/C to but it causes severe constipation...and if the stool is in the large intestine and that is pushing on your liver and stomach and then your organs are being pushed upwards .. then the ribs hurt.
