Guest guest Posted January 30, 2009 Report Share Posted January 30, 2009 Even though I am on Hospice it is the best thing i have ever done for my family and myself. Itis nothing to be ashamed of. It is above all the most wonderful thing you could every do for your your family OR yourself. ' I am going to bed now, very tired tonight. The hospice bed is in the living room near our big tv, and is sleeping on the couch next to me and when Earl gets home shortly, he can stretch out in the queen size bed in our bedroom with . All the paper work has been done, and all my medical files and future procedures are to be done by my private physician. My Pulmo stopped by my house tonight to check me over good and said no change in my lungs, etc. Wants me to take one " revitio " pill once a day and see what happens. Maybe some of it will work. He was so pleased the way Hospice of Virginia took over so quickly and are so proficient and professional. They even have a box of taped morphine with shringd droppr in the refrigerator if I can't breathe only have to call them first. Special dirctions. has been here all day yesterday and tonight staying too. Hospice has CNA which are nurses who come in 2- 3 times a week to give you a nice bath if you like or they will do anything you want done around the house. I am blessed and thank God I don't have to go tot he dr. anymore. They deliver the pills right to your door, no charge, It is wonderful and I AM HOME, GUYS.
