More Prayers Needed

Hello Everyone,

I haven't been on the web site again in quite a few weeks because I

have not been feeling well or have been busy. My stomach and

digestive system has given me lots of problems since the first of

Nov. and finally my primary doctor ordered a CT Scan on 5 Dec. &

called me within 2 hours after it was done to tell me there was a

mass on my pancreas and I should see a specialist. I saw the

specialist on 8 Dec.and he ordered an MRI of my abdomen and an MRPC

of my pancreas and told me it was possible that the CT Scan was

incorrect. I thought he was just trying to keep me from worrying.

But I got the MRI report yesterday and was happy and thankful that it

said everything was normal and there were no masses. However, the

gastro specialist is still insisting on doing an Endoscope including

inserting an ultra sound instrament into my stomach to view the

pancreas close up. It is scheduled for 24 Dec. and I have to have a

general anesthesia. My lung doctor approved having the general

anesthesia, but said if I needed surgery I need to have it in

Indianapolis so they can keep an eye on my lungs and my meds. I am

praying that the Endoscope will turn out o.k. and that I won't have

to have any surgery. I have started to feel a little better since I

cut back from taking 6 Oxycodone per day to only 3; and I have asked

my pain doctor how I can completely get off of Oxycodone as I think

maybe it is what has caused my digestive problems.

Thank heavens my son living next door helps me so much. He put up my

4' Christmas tree on my tv and decorated it, put up my lights outside

including my 2 deer and snowman, and inside my 2 small trees (one is

ceramic which was my mom's) and my nativity set on my 3' square

record cabinet. I also hired my 2 Clutter Control people to come out

and go through 3 of my 4 file boxes and piles of paper Mon. & Tues.

afternoon & they got a lot filed, shredded or tossed away. It was

expensive, but worth it to get rid of the clutter so I can finally

get back to physical therapy so I can regain my strength. There is

still more to be done, but I am hoping I can finish it up in Jan.

Peggy - I am happy you got out of the hospital and hope you are

feeling better.

Also, I hope you all will have a Mele Kalikimaka and a Hou Oli

Makahiki Ho.

Love and Aloha,

Judy Walling - South Lebanon,OH IPF 11/06 TX 8/07
