Guest guest Posted October 2, 2009 Report Share Posted October 2, 2009 County Emergency Services District #1 (HCESD-1) will be hosting two free continuing education sessions on Friday, October 16 and Saturday, October 17. The classes will be taught by Wes Ogilvie, a licensed Texas attorney and paramedic. The classes cover medical/legal issues and documentation practices. EMS providers may attend either session, as both sessions will cover the same material. Three hours of DSHS CE credit will be awarded to attendees. Both classes will be held at HCESD-1 headquarters at 2800 Aldine Bender Road, Houston TX 77032. The Friday class will be from 9 AM until noon. The Saturday class will be from 1 PM until 4 PM. First priority for class registration will be given to HCESD-1 medics and EMS providers affiliated with agencies that first respond for HCESD-1. As such, preregistration is highly encouraged.
