Guest guest
Ok, I think I just discovered something I didn't know about myself. I have been on a veg juice only cleanse for the past 7 days, which has been all going pretty good until now. Then this weekend I increased my sulphur intake, by having more cabbage, green beans, peas, mangetouts, sweetpeas in the juice. I had a LOT of this juiced today. I have been feeling average all weekend, then this evening the juice made me feel really bad. My consumption of these sulphur foods was considerably less the previous 5 days in the cleanse. Something in the juice made me feel this bad. I have had problems in the past with onions, garlic, (to which I was unconvinced at the time.) I have had big problems when I took some advice and had some cysteine supplements. That really screwed me over pretty big time. About 2 months ago I tried a sulphur exclusion diet, which did NOT make any difference, i.e. it did NOT make me feel better from my symptoms. Now this episode with the veg juice……so I think I can't handle sulphur foods, which is great to know, although I feel as rough as sandpaper and I wish I had not inadvertently just done a sulphur challenge test on myself :-( So….questions. I have read " amalgam illness " : A) Page 196. His list of sulphur foods….is that it? Or are there more to add to the list? (there are various sulphur food list about) His list does not include peas, beans, lentils, bean sprouts? Are they ok to eat? C) Sprouted foods, for example spouted alfalfa, mung bean, lentils etc…are they ok to eat? D) Wheat grass? E) Watercress? Don't know if it's relevant but I can't eat honeydew melon either. I have MFS and MCS. Apologies if these questions are already answered in the last few days, but I feel dazed and confused at the moment, nothing is clear right now and these direct questions will help me to see the wood for the trees. I don't want to do anymore inadvertent challenge tests if I can help it. Sunshine
