Guest guest
Carmel When I took L. Glutamine frequently, in the first year on SCD, I only took one capsule (150mg) every other day, sometimes every 3rd day. It helped, as I was suffering with extensive food sensitivities and had several major surgeries (it is suggested to take L. Glutamine after a surgery where anesthetics are used). I didn't notice an immediate effect, but over time I realized things were improving. When my food sensitivities had nearly disappeared, about a year later, I stopped taking L. Glutamine. Now I just take it for a few weeks after a procedure or surgery when I'm given anesthetics. Always takes me a while to recover from these things, digestive-wise. My body doesn't tolerate supplements, so I always take small doses and am always ready to skip a day or two between doses. You may also need to adjust your dosage size and frequency. Kim M.
