Dear Parents,

I would like to remind you that if you find yourselves needing ADVOCACY SERVICES, you can count on the Advocacy Program at United Cerebral Palsy (UCP), funded in part through a grant from the Broward County Community Partnerships Division.

The Mission of United Cerebral Palsy of South Florida is “To affect positively: the quality of life for persons with cerebral palsy and other developmental disabilities, to meet their multiple needs and those of their families, and to prevent developmental disabilities and minimize their effectsâ€.

The Advocacy Program supports and trains parents of children with special needs in Broward County so that they can develop the skills necessary to advocate for their child. In addition, the program also provides information, guidance and referrals. We encourage and empower the parents to become the first resource and the strongest advocate for their child.

Our services are provided in English and/or Spanish, throughout Broward County, at the child’s home, school or other convenient location.

We are committed in assisting you in developing the skills necessary to become the BEST advocate for YOUR CHILD.

Please call us. Thank you.

Warm regards,

Fabiola Ana Torrez & Liliana Acosta
