Guest guest
Last batch I made I ended up using heavy WHIPPING cream instead of just plain cream, and the resulting yogurt had a bizzarre texture which I HATED!!! It's like there are miniscule air bubbles throughout it, so it's less creamy. Plus, there are some equally bizarre lumps in it that arent normal creamy lumps. They're freakish alien lumps that make me gag. On top of it all, there's a funky underlying taste that makes it taste less like normal yogurt than my goat yogurt. TThis was the first time i used cow products in yogurt, becuase I had always used goat milk. Could it be becuase of this? Or because the heavy whipping cream? I also used half and half. I need the calories, and most people say it tastes better with the higher fat stuff, but it tastes weird to me!!! What am I doing wrong? What would you suggest? Thanks so much!
