" I wonder if rhodiola could be contributing to

the morning problems. I could be way off, but just a thought. "

My ND swears by rhodiola for low adrenals. Maybe it is causing me problems with

the HC though. I don't know...I was taking licorice root but stopped because I

am retaining water. I think the water retention might be hypoT though, because I

am still retaining it and stopped the licorice quite a while ago. The licorice

actually seemed to help.

" Just to weigh in on this, if I were in your shoes and experiencing

what you are, I would take the HC when the symptoms crop up and are

concerning. "

Thanks, . I have been doing this, but at the same time I am up to 25 mg

and just not getting relief in the a.m. I am fine in the afternoon/evening until

bed. I do need some at bedtime to sleep. It sounds backwards, and at one point I

couldn't believe some people were taking HC to get to sleep. Now that I am

experiencing it, I totally understand why they have to!

Morning is when my adrenals are lowest (in comparison to the reference range). I

very well could just need more in the morning. I am going to try tomorrow what I

have been doing and see if it gets any better. If not, I may have to increase my

a.m. dose to 10 mg, instead of 7.5. I am going to try holding off until my

appointment on Wed.

This morning I dosed 7.5 mg at 6:30 and 5 mg at 9:30. By 11:30 I honestly

thought I was going to throw up. I dosed another 5 mg and just hoped it would

kick in before I threw up. By noon, I was fine. I really think I just need more

in the a.m., but I never wanted to go above 20 mg, especially since I haven't

even read Jefferies book. At least I will be seeing a good doc on Wed.

Thanks,

Olif
