Guest guest
Hello Everyone, This is my first post. I've been reading from the oldest to newest posts to learn as much as I can. (I'm up to 2022) My situation - I've had asthma all my life (I'm now 50) with allergies to animals, dust mites, grass, some trees, etc. Over the years I have become allergic to onions, leeks, garlic, hot peppers. I've got some shoulder and neck pains that interact with each other. As a child I can remember playing with mercury! Coating coins with it to make them shiny (and getting mercury all over my fingers). Holding it in my hands. I even put some in my mouth one time just to see what it would feel like. (The only thing that kept me from swallowing it was that I didn't want to loose it.) Whoever said what you don't know can't hurt you was a fool! Obviously, neither I nor anyone in my family was aware of any dangers of mercury. When I went into the military in 1976 I had 16 amalgams placed over a 2-day period. That is not a typo! Still not knowing anything about the dangers of mercury I had 4 amalgams replaced with composites on the advice of a dentist while I was living in Athens. I don't believe any special precautions were used. Considering the above I would say that I've had a large exposure. I've been following Dr. Fuhrman's highly nutritional Eat To Live diet for almost a year with great health improvements (I'm now off all meds, have great energy level and good cholesterol numbers) and I continue to see improvements. However, I want to remove anything that could cause a future problem with my health and I'd like to have my amalgams removed and follow it up with chelation. I have found what I believe to be a safe dentist to perform the removal. If anyone would like to comment on their protocol I would appreciate it. Here's the link to their dental page: http://www.nihadc.com/joomla/content/view/172/268/ I just ordered the hair elements test kit from Direct Labs. I've got both of Andy's books on order and I'm more than halfway through Dr. Huggins book It's All in Your Head. I want to do this correctly and even though I'm anxious to get started I need to learn more before I begin. I figure I should be ready to have the amalgams removed in about two months or so. I would appreciate any advice on anything I should be doing now to prepare for the removal and subsequent chelation.
