Hi Group, I just joined a couple of weeks back after reading Amalgaqm

Illness. Now I'm feeling apprehensive and looking for a bit of

advice, I hope you can help.

I'm recovering quite well from CFS and had my amalgams removed about

eight years ago, and tests seem to show that my serum mercury is now

very low, but also that in deeper tissue it is still causing a

problem, along with organophosphates.

I've now done two rounds of ALA and DMSA at 50mg and while I felt OK

doing them two days after the second I found a whole series of

symptoms coming back, some familiar - poor concentration, brain fog,

headache, digestive problems, disturbed sleep, impotence, - and some

I've never had before - an odd red pustule on my arm, dry skin,

inflamed foreskin.

In a way I suppose it's good news as something is clearly happening

and I feel that maybe, at last, I could be on the right track here,

but it's scary too. I know you will say the dose was too high. I

thought perhaps I had already got rid of enough mercury to be able to

manage this much, but clearly not so I plan to restart with half or a

quarter of that dose. But my main question to you is should I carry

on now or wait until the symptoms abate before trying again? Also,

how long are they likely to last? Is it possible to chelate

successfully without side-effects? I think the answer must be no,

so where do you draw the line, and how?

I hope you can offer some reassurance and guidance,

Guy
