Thanks . I think I'll try to come down in 2.5 increments if I can until my weight stabilizes. I do get salt cravings sometimes and that probably means I've been needing more for a while. I don't know if I posted abut this here, but there was an article in last month's " Yoga Journal " about an MD doing research about the effect of yoga on people with " metabolic syndrome " -- people with apple shapes, lots of belly fat, pre-diabetic/high bp. The really interesting finding was that what helped the subjects' health the most was not active sweaty yoga, but restorative yoga, where you lie down, fully supported, and relax deeply. The doc's conclusion was that people who have a lot of stress make extra cortisol, which tells the body to pack on belly fat which causes other health problems.
