O/T Difference between R-lipoic and ALA

Can you explain am being told R-lipoic is right ALA is not,

for mercury removal.

What is the difference also why one and not the other?

Was told am not chelating correctly if not using R-lipoic,

If you don't know why, you have some reading to do.

Now am confused.
