It's cheap and useful for looking at vitamin and mineral status as well as toxic elements including mercury. For mercury of course there is the problem of interpreting what the reading means, but I take some comfort from the fact that over the years my sweat level of Hg has gone from high to almost negligible, so I should be more than ready for the ALA phase.
