Guest guest
Barbara, did dr box say what the lowest meld score they list with at UofU medical center? I have not had my meld done, but I know my GI in Twin Falls is thinking about listing me. I told you that I plan on seeing Dr. Box also? I am going down to SLC on June 18th to see a rhematologist Dr. Max Lundberg. Have you heard of him? He treats people with Relapsing Polychondritis which I suspect I might have. I am hoping to either get a dx or find out what else the problems could be. Here is an interesting experience: I was remembering how thankful I was to have finally gotten a dx after being sick for so many years with PSC. I had finally had a full blown cholangitis attack and they finally figured it out. Since I'm having some other health problems, that are very elusive and have seen about 6 different doctors and have done a ton of research on the Internet. I actually prayed that my symptoms would manifest themselves in a way that would allow me to get a diagnosis. Less then 24 hours later, I was in extreme pain in my nose, ears, throat and eyes. I have an appointment with a specialist that can get to the bottom of these symptoms. Moral of the story: Be careful what you pray/wish for; it just might be granted. Take care, everyone, Cheryl ID PSC/AIH, etc. Re: CDC recommends Shingles Vaccine > > > Glad to know there is a vaccine finally.
