Hi athon,

I had low grade fevers a lot and thought it was my UC, but turned out to be a blood infection due to the scar tissue where the main duct was attached. It had narrowed down to the point where my bile was backing up into my blood stream. I had a PTC with an internal stent put in to stretch it and been fine since. May not be in your case, but if a blood culture for gram negative has not been done, it may be worthwhile. My fevers were kind of blown of until PCP did the culture and found a particularly nasty infection. Tim L

I am kind of suspicious that I may have some kind of infection

underlying this, maybe in combination with fevers from UC. My fevers

the last few days have started pretty high in the morning and then sort

of wandered around through the day. With the fevers I was having when

my UC was flaring my temp would be normal in the morning and gradually

go up throughout the day. I'm also having pain that feels like lymph

nodes in my left shoulder and underarm.

Thanks for the info... it helps to know that others have gone through

similar things!
