Guest guest
Since my husband is tied up with work & school, I've asked my 84-year old mother to accompany me to the conference in May. She's offered to knit some baby booties for our silent auction - they'll meet the mandate of being lightweight & small enough to carry home on an airplance. My mom's very excited about being able to help with our fundraising. The silent auction was great fun last year - it generates money for our group without a tremendous amount of effort. Last year I was bidding on a baby item against a fellow Partner at our dinner table during the banquet - we are certainly a competitive bunch! It added to our fun. I wasn't as clever as my table-mate and lost out, but I learned a bit about strategy and I'll be ready this year!
