Guest guest
Hi ; One possibility would be " Meralgia paresthetica " : http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/meralgia-paresthetica/DS00914 " Meralgia paresthetica is a condition characterized by tingling, numbness and burning pain in the outer part of your thigh. The cause of meralgia paresthetica is compression of a nerve — the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve — that supplies sensation to the skin surface of your upper leg. " Symptoms " commonly occur only on one side of your body and may intensify after walking or standing " . I'm guessing that it could be due to a nerve injury related to your daughter's volleyball activity? Best regards, Dave R. (father of (22); PSC 07/03; UC 08/03) --- In , " O. " > Has anyone else experienced this? It is not in both thighs or her whole thigh, it is just localized to one particular spot about 4x4. > > - mom to Caity(17) PSC/AIH 2005 >
