Cutler usually encourages people to start ALA early in chelation because ALA is what will take the mercury out of the brain. If you use onibasu to search autism mercury archives I think that you will find that Andy generally says to wait 3 months after exposure before using ALA. That would mean 3 months after amalgam removal or 3 months after a vaccine, or some other exposure. something that takes at least a few months or longer. Otherwise the ALA could take mercury from the body into the brain. I think that you are confusing the words body and blood.
