Caring cousin plans to donate part of his liver

In June, Hutchinson, a former Ashland

resident, will donate half his liver to his ailing cousin, Skudlarek, of Redding. Due to an illness called primary sclerosing cholangitis, Skudlarek's liver functions started declining after he was

diagnosed with the hereditary disease in 2004.

The doctors at the University of California- conducted multiple

tests to diagnose the illness……
