Pearl's Colonoscopy and Endoscopy on Thursday

I thought I'd give an update and see if anyone has any insight to what

was found. Pearl had active inflammation is her esophagus and rectum

and inactive (healing) inflammation everywhere else. He didn't go

into the small intestine so we don't really know how much inflammation

is there. He also found what he suspects could be a varice in her

rectum. He said that he doesn't remember seeing it before but that it

could just be the way her vein is made. He also said it is unusual

for someone to have a varice in their rectum and not in their stomach

or esophagus. Has anyone else experienced a varice just in their

rectum or some random unexpected place? and I are obviously

concerned. We've suspected something has been going on but all her

liver numbers look good and her liver isn't enlarged. So there it is

- any insight would be great!
