Thank you, Dean. It was kind of you to rethink this and comment further. I'm

still trying to figure this out, her recent " odd " reaction to Ala. I wish I knew

how to gauge a good chiropractor as her insurance would cover this and I think

it might not hurt.

Do you have any pointers as to what to look for or look out for when you go to a

chiropractor?

Hi

Unilateral headaches are often referred by muscles and or joints on that

same side.

The common muscles that refers up there is SternoCleidoMastoid and Masseter

and the TMJ (Tempero-Manibular-Joint)

It can be easily treated with dry needling (acupuncture), but if she is too

young for that simple hot-packing and trigger pointing will help.

It may be chelation related in that when she chelates it is stressful. This

can activated the jaw muscles to clench.

The activated the muscles can trigger referred pain.

The adrenal response fires these muscles,

Magnesium will help relax them.

Also, zinc prevents clenching

You could consider taking her to a good physio/osteopath with a good

understanding of jaw mechanics and craniosacral work.
