Guest guest
We did a sleep study yes it was a challenge I did have to bring a bit of bribery but he did well and then about 6-9 months later he did a repeat one that included a day time study MSLT for Narcolepsy that was more difficult than the one at night We did have to visit the dr's sleep lab a few times first find out if in your area they have a pediatric sleep specialist they are better equipped in my opinion for our children Hi All, We have been aware of our 6 y.o. ASD son having occasional sleep disturbances and poor quality sleep overall. It was suggested to us that we have him do a sleep study at a clinic, such as at Stanford. However, I have sleep apnea myslf and know that it will prove very, very difficult to get him to agree to all the wiring and tubing that is required for such a study. As a fallback, we were advised to try to set up a camera with night vision to at least record his night-time sleeping to see if we can glean anything that way. Has anyone done this? In particluar, we are looking for recommendations on the least intrusive equipment available to make this happen. Thanks for any advice.------------------------------------
