Guest guest
I was checking my molar with a dental mirror (it was hurting and wanted to see if I had a cracked filling) and anyway..I had some rather large amalgams removed a year ago. So I do not have any amalgam fillings. I did notice however that this molar has a grey line on it, sort of a residual of carrying the large amalgam for most of my life. I have some other molars with a bit of grey color (shadows or staining) left to them, and I know that amalgam does get into the tubules of the teeth and such. I do have a problem using ALA..it gives me crushing headaches. I was trying to figure out why. Andy's book says I may be too toxic to use it. But could this also be the reason. That there is residual amalgam staining on a tooth. Or do others here have that as well and do fine with ALA. I know it is almost virtually impossible to get every mercury molecule out of a tooth that has amalgam. (Other than pulling it out). But....what do you think?
