Guest guest
Hi, Starting on day 14 of the diet I began to develop rashes on my arms. They are increasingly red and on the soft side of my arms as opposed to just on the tanned side. I have always had small bumps but this is different because it itches and will hurt a little if you itch it. I have had one little setback. I had a small piece of havarti that I found out wasn't aged long enough. The result was one round of D and a little heartburn. But this happened after the rash started. Other than that I have had no D. I have tolerated foods well, including Peanut Butter. Could this be because I began sprinkling a little coconut over the top of my yogurt? I was eating ALmond Butter and Cashew butter too. Is this to much? I have cut the almond butter and cashew butter out. I use Peanut Butter sparingly. The rest of my diet is fish, grilled meats, spinach, eggs, souffle bread, yogurt, honey, zuchinni, yellow squash and farmers cheese. What do you guys think? Rashes like this are common with SCD, but is it because of what I ate or just the way the little guys are dying? Thanks, Val UC diag 2 yrs SCD 17 days
