Guest guest
Dear all, Is it common to experience worsening of symptoms after one has improved massively already? I started chelating back in March. I have now reached round 16 of DMSA only. Strated at 6mg, progressed to 8 then 12.5and now have been on 18.75mg for 3 rounds. One of my main health issues prior to chelating was severe arthritic pain in my back and hips, a condition known as Ankylosing Spondylitis. It is strongly linked to Colitis and Crohns and as such flares up badly with digestive problems. My syptoms improved so well up to about round 11 or 12. My pain was hugely reduced and my digestion was better than it has been for years. but the last month has seen me geting worse again. the pain has gotten worse and i have constant dihorea. In AI there is a graph plotting the intensity of symptoms as Chelation progresses. It does show that one can get worse again between 2 to 6 months as mercury comes out of the organs and floods the blood again. Is this true? And if so is it common? Or could it be that i just cant tolerate the 18.75mg DMSA? would starting ALA help perhaps? I am a little woried that i am getting worse again for no reason. Many thanks Charlie
