According to my dr, there was one done in Melbourne, but it was from a

mother to her own child.....ie very special circumstances. I suspect that

the overall transplant numbers aren't high enough...they need more practice

before they will commit. This flies in the face of NZ doing them (with a

much smaller population).

Qld had only had 39 donations last year, but apparently did 26 in the first

six months this year. There is hope for me yet.
