Hi to everyone Sorry I have not been on-line for the past two weeks - but for very good reason. was transplanted on April 13th and is doing extremely well. We received the call at 7am on Thursday (4/13) that he was scheduled for surgery at 4pm. Everything went on schedule. He was in recovery by 10pm and in his room within the next few hours- alert and feeling the difference. For the past two weeks he has been feeling stronger with each passing day. He is healing beautifully and thankfully has not suffered any of the side effects of the new medication. We have been blessed!! We have received clearance to return back to NY on May 5th and we are anxiously awaiting the trip. is going back home healthy and we know it is in part due to your many good wishes, prayers and candles.
