OT: Recommendations for Gastroenenterologists in Raleigh-Durham area

Does anyone have recommendations for good gastroenterologists in the

Raleigh-Durham area? By good I mean:

-- Cordial, calm, professional bedside manner

-- Knowledgeable in field (i.e. stays current on latest GI research, not just

from drug companies)

-- Experienced and competent in performing colonoscopies, recommending

treatments (granted, in the Gastroenterology field of today, this doesn't

require much imagination), and making accurate diagnoses

-- Is at least okay with SCD, if not an advocate

Feel free to reply to me privately. I have seen too many lousy GI physicians

lately. IMO, gastroenterology is not a competitive field to enter, since the

customers are essentially a captive market.
