My sister found a legal brand in Ohio... it was just horseradish and, I

think, mustard oil. H-h-hot! Don't remember what brand. I have also used

Penzey's powdered horseradish in remoulade sauce.

Yeah, I figured.BTW, just a head's up.Horse radish is a great natural anti-bacterial, so it is a useful thingto have in one's diet for us SCDers. http://www.motherearthnews.com/Organic-Gardening/2003-10-01/Horseradish.aspxScientists also have found that compounds in horseradish root can kill a range of bacteria, which makes it an even more appropriate accompaniment to a roast beef sandwich in this era of increased concerns about food pathogens. Although horseradish's strong taste precludes its use in toothpaste, the volatile oils in the root also have been found to block the growth of the bacteria that cause dental plaque.MaraThanks! Yeah - it makes sense if you think about it, considering that

humans and food evolved together. It's just not often

noted in the mainstream way of thinking about food.

Well, I don't believe in evolution. I believe we were given incredible food by

an incredible Creator. But thanks for the info anyway! :)
