Hello ,

I dont know if he had PSC or not he was on the radio talking about it but i missed the start of the radio show.

Glad it worked for you , i enjoyed this series it finished this week .

The surgeons implanted a bionic ear device into a deaf child and digitally stimulated (or something like that) his nerves .

end result he was able to hear .

They also lenghtened another boys leg over time.

Breaking it and stretching it over time.

Nothing to do with Liver disease but very good viewing

Re: Liver transplant in Ireland (how its done over here ) AS SEEN ON TV

Hi thanks so much for that link. It came through fine, even to the bottom of the world...grinI grinned when the specialist saw the young bloke to let him know that he was on the transplant list, he asked him how he was feeling and classic reply came, "tired" ... do Doctors, when the ask that question to anyone with PSC, get any other reply????It was so good to see how much better the two transplantees looked by the end of the programme and also the lung transplant man's wife looked so much more relaxed too.(Can we leap to the assumption that the young bloke had PSC, since his bowel was involved, or are there other liver diseases with bowel involvement. Thanks again>> http://www.rte.ie/tv/surgeons/av_20080522.html> > Hello from this side of the big pond.> If you get this to work you will see most of my team.> The docs i have met and yet to meet .> (NOT ON THE TX LIST YET)> go to rte> then tv> then find the program surgeons> you will see liver and heart+lung transplants.> This was broadcast 2 weeks ago on Irish national Tv> The hospital is St s which is the national tx centre for the Republic of Ireland.> If you have broadband this should run> > regards> > O B
