That's obviously far from the news we wanted to hear and had to be

horrible for her and for you. At the same time you keep fighting and

hoping and believing, I hope you're able to find a way to each of you

make a list of things you absolutely want to do together and do them as

soon as possible. That's a good idea for any of us in any condition. But

if it is a year, find a way to get every moment of joy and create every

possible memory in that time. I know some is limited by your health, but

within those limits. I set a one year plan before 2008 and it made it a

great year. Now, fortunately, I've set a one year plan again for 2009

and repeat as long as possible. I may have lived more in the past year

than I would have in twenty and certainly had more quality time with

friends and family.

Now, one other thing.....when you feel like it post regardless of the

news. We are here for each other with no qualifications on that. While

our disease isn't to me as overwhelming as yours at least we have some

appreciation for a terminal disease. By one account, my date stamp is

next month. Well, I'm going to continue to be fine after my expiration

date. But I sure packed a lot into last year just in case. I know you're

not one to complain but sometimes recognize you have reason to, do it,

and then go back to the strong Brett. Don't deny yourself the right to

express to friends how you're doing and feeling.
