Rice University is currently accepting applications for the position

of EMS Director. With minimal supervision from the Chief of Police,

the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Director is responsible for the

leadership, management, and development of all activities for EMS

operations, budget, and education.

Rice University EMS is licensed with the State of Texas as an ALS

First Responder Organization for the Houston Fire Department. In

service 24 hours a day, seven days a week, Rice EMS provides emergency

medical care to the Rice campus and in surrounding areas. Rice EMS is

staffed entirely by student volunteers.
